I really love The Clash, and sometimes I fantasize about being able to time travel back to 1981 and watch them play at Bonds Casino in New York. Just think about how amazing it would be to watch a chapter of punk rock history play back-to-back sold-out shows in their prime.
In 30 years, people will be saying the same thing about Bad Religion and you’ll be sorry you didn’t see them every time they played a show within a 100 mile radius.
Bad Religion is taking up residence at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, San Diego, Anaheim, and Las Vegas throughout the months of March and April (just like Social Distortion did a few years ago), and I’d like to take this opportunity to command you to see this band. They’ll play songs you liked back in junior high, then a bunch of newer ones that, believe it or not, are even better. Bad Religion will play you songs from all of their records you love, and they’ll play them faster, louder, and tighter. If you’ve somehow avoided hearing their music in the last 30 years, they’ve been redefining their genre, and you’ll have a new favorite band when you leave this show.
They are catchy, they are loud, and somehow they are a bunch of middle-aged white guys who teenagers think are cool. YOU MUST SEE BAD RELIGION.
The band will be at the House of Blues Sunset Strip on: March 24th, March 25th, April 3rd, April 4th.
